HOW TO RECYCLE WITH US

WHEN?

calendar.png

Recycling is picked up on your first and third trash day of each month.

For instance if Tuesday is your regular pickup day, we will come by on the first and third Tuesday of the month. Just set your tied up blue recycling bags on the curb before 8AM, and we’ll take care of the rest!

*Due to the volume of Monday pick ups they are now divided by proximity to the loop- Homes with a Monday trash day, located inside the loop, will be picked up on the first and third Monday. Homes, with a Monday trash day, located outside the loop will be picked up on the second and fourth Monday of each month)

Find our full calendar of pick up days here.

HOW TO BAG RECYCLING:

When you sign up for our curbside service we’ll drop your blue recycling bags at your door in 3-5 business days. Glass must be collected in a separate bag, and all your other recyclables can be collected in the same blue bag. On pickup day place your bags on the curb. Please flatten any oversized cardboard boxes and place them underneath the blue bags.

RECYCLING TIPS:

As important as recycling is, it is also important to recycle correctly.

  • We accept plastics 1-7. The number can be found imprinted on the product, usually on the bottom.

  • Recycled items should be free of food residue- remember, recycling shouldn’t stink!

  • Please no pizza boxes, dirty napkins, or other paper products contaminated by food waste.

  • Remember to thoroughly rinse cans and containers before recycling them.

  • Styrofoam (including fast food cups), light bulbs, batteries, chemicals, clothes hangers (plastic or metal), plastic toys, chip bags, grocery bags, juice boxes, and candy wrappers are not recyclable with us.
